What's everyone up to this weekend? After a long pause in bed with Pablo Neruda, I decided that I wanted to spend the day cooking.
Le Menu
-Beef Bourguignon (not Julia Child's, but a good one nonetheless)
-Apricot and Toasted Almond Galette
-A delicious Amarone
I'm sad to admit (lest my beloved city interpret my complaint as disloyalty) that I am in desperate need of sunshine on my skin. Since I cannot acheive this readily, I shall make it in my kitchen.
Bon Appetit,

Oooh, what a delicious menu you're dishing up!!!
I am making grilled artichokes, sliced thin with olive oil, lemon and sea salt, pork loin and
(this part scares me)
homemade yogurt. I am going to attempt to infuse honey with lavender as well :)
Bon appetit!!!

I love your style, friend.
Finally finished up finagling my way through far too much html, to be able to sit, catch up on some reading with a glass of this Pink wine I bought at TJ's the other day.
A long, productive day (at home).
Enjoy. xx
Sounds yummy! Oh I'm right there with ya...I need to see blue sky and sunshine! I might have to visit the sunbeds....! Have a wonderful Sunday!
sounds great!
and its ok to admit that even us northwesterners need a little sunshine now and then...

Well? How was it?
I had the solo gal's diet of roasted brussels and a chickpea salad (and some really dumb girlie tv - the kind that you don't really want anyone to see in your "recently watched" netflix que).
Why do you have to live such a charmed life?
Your dinner sounds amazing!
I had some trashy tv with a side of I don't feel like cooking pizza!
katheen xx
