Of late,
it's the small things in life
that keep me afloat
in the tumultuous tempest of self-care.
(Sometimes self-care requires that I drink and drink a lot. Other times, it begs me to cherish my liver. I have to be keenly in tune with its wee voice.)

I will celebrate them.
However humble they may be.

You're cute, keeping track of your drinking. I just drink and enjoy it. ;)
You don't have to keep track, dear. I can just drink and enjoy but that ends up being roughly 14-20 drinks per week, and that's just not okay for me personally.
So I'm just starting to pay attention and bring back intentional awareness to it all.

I agree that 14-20 drinks per week isn't healthy for you and so I'm glad to see you are keeping a tally. Keep up the good work about bringing that number down. You and your liver deserve it. xx.
I recently saw a funny quote:
"The other day I read about all the ills in the world created by drinking, so I gave up reading."
Thanks for sharing. It's refreshing for me to see people wrestle with being people. I wrestle as well.
Ever seen the movie I commented about? "of gods & men." I think you'd love it. It's incredibly artistic...like you.
well done dearest, its a good feeling to have something you want and then make it happen.
